|Pueblo, CO - Laurel “Bud” E. Miller, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, at 1:00 pm at Central Baptist Church, in Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 – 7 pm on Monday, April 1 at Heritage Funeral Home.
Laurel ‘Bud” Miller was born September 6, 1922 and attended school inLennox. He farmed with his father, Henry in the Lennox and later in the Crooks area. He also worked at Trap and Field and Ideal Hardware in Sioux Falls. For the last two years he had been living at Belmont Lodge Health Care Center in Pueblo, Colorado. Bud was a lifetime member of Central Baptist Church. He married his roller skating sweet heart, Elsie Stearns and they were happily married for 63 years. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, building bird housed and small picnic tables for the grand kids.
Survivors include his two children; John (Dianne) Miller of Sioux Falls, SD, Ruth Miller of Avondale, CO; seven grandchildren, Deborah (Clint) Meyer of Spearfish, SD, Bradley (Dawn) Miller of McKinney, TX, Amanda, Jeremy, Rachel, Jessica and Joshua Storm of Avondale, CO; son-in-law, Tom Storm of Avondale, CO; 3 great grandchildren, Maxwell Meyer, Mark Meyer and Cameron Miller.
Laurel “Bud’ Miller was preceded in death by his wife Elsie, parents, Henry and Hannah Miller, a sister, Josephine and a daughter Laura Storm.
